Did you know
- TriviaThe opening sequence might, maybe, possibly be a nod to the weirdest western movie ever made. 'Terror In Tiny Town' had an all midget cast who rode Shetland ponies. Unfortunately the town and furniture was all standard size.
- Quotes
Ernest Pratt: Oh, God it's hot. It must be a hundred degreees out here.
Janos Bartok: Actually, it's a hundred and two. But it's a dry hundred and two.
Ernest Pratt: What a relief.
Janos Bartok: If it helps you can think of it as thirty-nine degrees Celsius.
Ernest Pratt: Professor, this is America. We like our fahrenheit here. We don't need any sissy European Celsius system to tell us how hot it is.

Drab
We've enjoyed our discovery of this half-season series, but this show was a bit drab. What makes the series are the laughs, because the plots simply aren't that captivating. Here I didn't find much that was funny.
The overall plot involves the murder of a paleontologist who shows up at Bartok's lab with a dinosaur spine (partial) fossil, has been shot, and promptly dies. Bartok calls in a old friend to help solve the case, and Bartok, Pratt (Legend) and the friend try to locate where the murdered man has been.
Enter some competition from an oil company (because you find dinosaur fossils and oil in the same place???) and there is competition to locate the site and confusion over which side might have wanted the man dead.
The motives in the plot were on the iffy side, and it never really engaged me.
