Really nice, wholesome (for a detective show with lots of gun-waving and explosions) episode. At first, I found the whole adulation thing displayed by the characters towards some old TV 60s superhero show pretty stupid, but then I remembered what I was watching, opened myself up to the joke, and then enjoyed it immensely.
It still took me until about halfway through to be reminded of the "Batman" series and start imagining Adam West in real life running around town in the outfit, tracking down the killer of his old co-stars. That made things even funnier. I'm sure a lot of other viewers will probably have been quicker off the mark than I was there.
Renee Tenison (Kendra) is still being outrageously hot, as she is wont to do. But I am missing Dawn Eason (Jodi) since she left. Like curries, TV shows can't have too much hotness. Until they blow your mind, that is.
