In his antiques shop, Franz Zehrer discovers a kind of will under a picture frame. Instead of informing the real beneficiary, he decides to blackmail the supposed sole heir Walter Stift and is murdered by him. During the investigations, Brandtner and the team find a network dealing with fake antiquities, but only when another murder occurs and the real beneficiary comes to the fore, they start to make connections.
