THen Ralph walks by again hearing her mention the name George, who is the mysterious man she is having an affair with, and jumps to the conclusion that it is Mr Jefferson she is seeing. He tells this to Florence, who tells Ms Jefferson who doesn't believe this at first. She then goes up to Ms Saunder's apartment who doesn't deny she is having an affair, but assumes Ms Jefferson is the wife of the man who she is having a affair with and Ms Jefferson is now upset, especially because Mr Jefferson has been too tired to spend time with her recently. When Mr Jefferson comes home the uproar begins. Mr Jefferson explains to her about the business deal with her father's chain of hotels, but Ms Jefferson doesn't believe him. So Mr Jefferson decides to falsely confess that he is very irresistible. Then Ms Saunders rings the doorbells and tells Mr Jefferson that cannot accept his contract and have to leave the city because she was confronted by who she thought was the wife of George Nylund, the man who she was having an affair with. Ms Saunders then realizes that Ms Jefferson is not married to George Nylund and then they realize that they have nothing to worry about and then she gives Mr Jefferson the contract. George then explains that they could be married many years and he would never get tired of Ms Jefferson.
