David needs to get inside the Vikor plant. After all, recently one of their employees recently reported seeing glowing people inside tubes...much like the regeneration tubes David has seen on several occasions already. These tubes allow the aliens to maintain human form...at least temporarily....and without them, it will be difficult for the aliens to run the planet.
Fortunately for David, the company's owner, George VIkor (Jack Lord) is married to an irresponsible alcoholic woman who insists on driving while drunk! So, he's able to get a job as the wife's chauffeur and uses this as a way to get inside the plant.
Well, David is able to get inside the place and he sees the regeneration tubes being put to use. Not surprisingly, however, he's soon caught. Is there any possible escape for David...or is he destined to simply 'disappear'?
I enjoyed this episode for the same reason I enjoyed the later film, "They Live". This is because in both, there are humans who know the aliens are here....and work with them for money and power! Sure, the planet might be taken over....but as Vikor says "we'll be right on top with them"! Well written and a really good episode...made all the better with Jack Lord's guest appearance. Among the best of the episodes I've seen so far...and the ending is simply brilliant!
