Although this episode aired just a few days before Christmas, it is not officially a "Christmas" episode because the characters make no mention of it. However, the Hulk's interaction with the store's Toy department may indicate that they may have planned to make this a Christmas episode, but later changed for some reason.
When David says "The reports of my death are grossly exaggerated." he is some what quoting Mark Twain after he read his obituary in 1897 and then remarked, "The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated."
When David says "hell hath no fury" he is quoting from William Congreve's 'The Mourning Bride' (1697). "Heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned, nor Hell a fury like a woman scorned" is the full quotation.
