Did you know
- TriviaLucille Ball got into an argument with the director of this episode. The director wanted Bobby the milkman to walk across the bed instead of around it as he was running away from Mr. Foster. Lucy, however, thought it made no sense for Bobby to run across the bed. Producer Jess Oppenheimer had to be called to set to settle the argument and he ultimately sided with Lucy.
- GoofsWhen Fred brings up the breakfast to take to the Ricardo's bedroom, he mentioned that he had just come from cooking downstairs, but the breakfast he brings up is in the Ricardo's china. It is the same china that the Ricardo's have for most of the series and it matches completely the set that Lucy has in the other bed. If Fred had really gone to bring up breakfast from his kitchen it would have come on different china.
- Quotes
Ricky Ricardo: Lucy, you remember that old saying, "birds of a feather smell the same"?
Lucy Ricardo: You mean "a rose by any other name flocks together"?
Ricky Ricardo: [Thinks a moment] Yeah.

Pantomime gossip
I love Lucy's pantomime as a way to promise Ricky not to gossip but she gossips by letting Ethel figure it out. From start to finish this is an underrated episode it's another girls vs. boys bet. Technically the boys already broke the rules because making up a story is gossip. Ricky argues if the story was true then it's gossip but it wasn't they made it up the wives were gossiping. Well, that's actually not true regardless the story was true or not they were gossiping about a neighbor. But the girls got their revenge so it's all good.
