- Ricky Ricardo: [Ricky forbids Lucy to drop hints to Sir Clive about an invitation to his estate] Now Lucy, American tourists have a reputation for being pushy, and I don't want you to add to that reputation.
- Lucy Ricardo: Oh, psssh...
- Ricky Ricardo: Now listen, promise me. No hinting, no word, no nothin'.
- Lucy Ricardo: Oh...
- Ricky Ricardo: [firmly] Promise?
- Lucy Ricardo: All right, I'll promise. Don't be so pushy.
- Ricky Ricardo: [a bramble bush walks up to them] Lucy, are you in there?
- Lucy Ricardo: Yeah.
- [Ricky pulls branches down and finds her face]
- Lucy Ricardo: I don't know what anybody sees in this fox hunting.
- Ricky Ricardo: How'd you get in there?
- Lucy Ricardo: I don't know, just get me out.
- Sir Clive Richardson: There are some hedge trimmers by the gardener's shed.
- Lucy Ricardo: Oh good, it's kind of spooky in here, I get the feeling that I'm not alone.
- [turns around, revealing a fox tail sticking out of the bush]
- Ricky Ricardo: [Lucy is jealous that Ricky danced with a young woman three times at a party] Now, Honey, that girl is just a fan. She saw my last performance at the Palladium. I have to be nice to my public.
- Lucy Ricardo: Oh, sure, your pretty young public. You weren't being very nice to all those ugly, old publics sitting around.
- Ricky Ricardo: Angela Randall is just a nice, stage-struck girl.
- Lucy Ricardo: Ah HAH!
- Ricky Ricardo: Ah hah, what?
- Lucy Ricardo: You know her name!
- Ricky Ricardo: Of course I know her name.
- Lucy Ricardo: Yeah, well, ha-hah.
- Ricky Ricardo: So what's wrong with askin' her name?
- Lucy Ricardo: The first time you danced with me, you asked me my name, and look what happened.
- Ricky Ricardo: Well, everybody makes a mistake once in awhile.
- Lucy Ricardo: WHAT?
- Lucy Ricardo: I'm nervous.
- Ethel Mertz: [loudly] Well I don't blame you since you've never been on a horse before!
- Lucy Ricardo: Shhh! I don't want the horse to know it.
- Ethel Mertz: Lucy, does Ricky know you've never been on a horse?
- Lucy Ricardo: No, I told him I learned in Girl Scout camp.
