- Alternate versionsPlans originally called for a color broadcast of this episode as "our answer to Peter Pan (1955)," but color television film proved too expensive. However, color photos and home movies of the cast's dress rehearsal still exist. In 2007, they served as a guide for a digitally colorized version of the episode. The colorized version received its first release as a bonus feature on the _"I Love Lucy" (1951)_ complete series DVD.

Most underrated episode!
I never knew so many disliked or even hated this episode until I saw it on some message boards. This one has been a much loved episode in our family.
I won't go into detail but it's part fantasy part musical. Fred and Ethel have a particularly memorable part in this episode and their usual bickering is put to hilarious use . It's definitely better then some episodes that have been overrated. It's just pure fun . Sit back and enjoy!
