Barbara Eden has said that Lucille Ball complimented her on her comic talent. and even offered her a contract with Desilu because of her performance. At the time, Eden was waiting to hear if 20th Century Fox was picking up her contract. Later that day, Fox informed Eden they were picking up her option, and Eden thanked Lucy but declined the Desilu offer.
