Directed by Michael Ansara
"One Jeannie Beats Four of a Kind" marked the one and only outing as director for actor Michael Ansara, following three appearances as an actor on the series that starred his wife Barbara Eden. Better than the usual run of fifth season entries, with General Schaeffer informing Major Healey about a card shark fleecing the men at NASA, during which Major Nelson arrives to invite them over for an evening of poker! Senator Martino (Herbert Rudley), a state senator, accompanies the general to the Nelson residence, where Tony looks very much like the suspicious card shark. The next poker night finds sore loser Roger earning all the winnings, with the actual crook being the phony senator, under directions from The Boss (Walter Burke). Surefire laugh material well done by Michael Ansara.
