How you feel about "Chasing Jamie" will depend upon your reaction to Angela Nicholas in the title role. She is a familiar face from many cable skin shows, and doesn't appeal to me at all.
Oddball premise has her tale, as related in flashback via a postcard to series hostess Lauren Hays sipping champagne in her hottub, doing a riff on Goldilocks & The Three Bears. Sort of.
She stayed at Hays' luxury resort last summer, going solo to get away from it all. But unfortunately she is accosted there, singly and then en masse, by three, count 'em, three ex-lovers, all maniacally bent on hopping back into bed with her.
This being softcore after-hours pay-cable programming, she protests but acquiesces, in tedious fashion. Full-frontal female nudity is featured, but Nicholas is not much to look at, nor is her lesbian girl friend Stephanie Swift, and the guys are standard-issue hunks. It adds up to a real time-waster, especially since all 3 predators are rather creepy.
Nicholas looks more like an actress who should be on soap operas than skin flicks, while Swift is obviously a hardcore porn performer moonlighting in softie format. Writing is miserable, with uninteresting story development and lame dialog.
