In the replay of the first episode of Tool Time, Mrs. Binford (presumably, by her age, the wife of founder of Binford Tools) doesn't know Tim's name, and keeps calling him Tom. But previously, particularly in Arrivederci, Binford (1993), Tim indicates he was the top tool salesman for Binford Tools, and that Mr. Binford was like a father to him. It seems inconsistent that, if Mrs. Binford was involved enough with the business to be doing the introduction for the show, and Tim was that close to (and profitable for) Mr. Binford, that she wouldn't have known his name.
Michael Andretti makes a statement that he was slower than Johnny Rutherford getting to the studio due to the bad directions that Tim gave him. However, Al and Jill had them come to the studio as a surprise for Tim for the 5th anniversary show. Hence, Tim wouldn't of given Michael Andretti directions to the studio due to the fact that he didn't know that he would be coming.
Additionally, Michael had already appeared on Tool Time with his father Mario in Roomie for Improvement (1992) He should have already had at least a general idea how to get there.
