Burkhalter catches Schultz asleep
When General Burkhalter makes a surprise inspection of the Stalag, he finds Sgt. Schultz asleep on the job. He then issues orders for Schultz to be transferred to the Russian front. And in Schultz condition, he will not last long anywhere there may be shooting.
Hogan will try to help Schultz. He gets Klink to have a doctor come over and take a look at Schultz. But the doctor is really Newkirk with some wild hypnotism method that is suppose to change Schultz back into a well disciplined officer. Hogan may have created a monster.
There is a side story where Hogan is getting some secret plans from a local baker- but the real fun is with Schultz. The time where Burkhalter catches Schultz asleep is actually hilarious as before Schultz can get any words out Burkhalter is calling him a liar. Anytime Burkhalter, with that deep Austrian accent,is in the show you can expect a good time. Good watch
