I would like to put my apologizes about my early review about this episode, so I decided re-watch Survival aiming for extract more substantial elements to make a properly brand new review, Big John and Blue go ahead of Buck and Manolito, try find a shorter way on Apache's land to take the cattle into nearby city, sadly in advance ground they lost each other, soon appears on runaway Apache taken on the slay Blue's horse, so he promptly pursue the Apache thru the rocky area, ends up shooting the thief and recovering the horse, to worsen shows up Soldado's renegades and taken all supplies including water and horses of the duo, letting him in dire straits on this driest and hot place.
Meanwhile Buck and Manolito already worried about the sudden disappearance of Big John and Blue, they decide track down their mates, back on desert Big John and Blue catch the native survivor in order to find out a waterhole on nearby area, they carefully extract the bullet from the Indian's shoulder, a kind of little truce, after get some biiter water of a cactus the wary Indian suggest the direction of the so-awaited waterhole, but disappears on dust storm, likewise Buck and Manolito as well, passing thru them without notice due the strong dust noise, Big John is thready and frantically need water, instead Blue could stand a little longer, however the time is running out for both.
Watching thoroughly the story make sense in several aspects on a driest land never explored before by the Chaparral's settlers, otherwise the Apaches, Soldado launch the challenging over the white men which he portraits as weak ones, reliable episode where the endurance is the main plot of the episode.
