Hazell heads to the Suffolk coast for a break, but his solitude is broken when he's approached by
Peter Harlow, who's bizarrely inherited a cottage from a dead man, whom he had no links to.
This wasn't my favourite episode if I'm honest, it's a good solid mystery, I just found the plot a little thin, some of the elements were a little tenuous I think it's fair to say. I did enjoy the visuals, and I thought the ending was quite exciting, it just takes some time to get moving.
Hazell's involvement in the case somehow didn't feel totally natural, it felt a little contrived.
Best of all was the character of The Vicar, John Woodnutt was terrific, a prolific and much missed character actor, he was by far the most interesting character here.
Good to see Hazell's new car, that beautiful Jaguar MkII, it suited him more so that The Triumph Stag I thought.
71!!! It's funny how attitudes towards age have changed with time.
6/10.
