- TriviaThis episode was filmed in 1962 depending on your source. Then in 1970-71 Robert Hogan (Clarke) and Susan Seaforth Hayes (Marsha) played Scott Banning and Julie Olson on Days of Our Lives - she had given birth to an illegitimate boy (David) via a young man she was in love with but had to put it up for adoption. Scott and his wife were planning to adopt the boy but his wife died and Julie coerced Scott to marry her so she could be close to the boy. However, throughout their marriage Julie was having an affair with Doug Williams (more to that story) who was played by Bill Hayes. And during the filming of Days of Our Live at this time, actors Susan and Bill fell in love and married in 1974 in real life, still married to this day.

LOTS OF MONEY WILL KEEP ME QUIET!
Writer Lester Fuller may have been inspired by the classic CHARLIE CHAN mysteries for this one, and its a real gem.
Greg's latest client is fabulously wealthy Marsha Monroe (played by Susan Seaforth Hayes) whose mother (Linda Watkins) is being blackmailed for large sums of money. It turns out Marsha was the heir to a fortune when she was a baby, about twenty years ago, her real mom and dad dead -- and the password is coverup.
The murderer happens to be one for the books, hooking up an electric organ near a pool. Depending on what key the player hits, it would electrocute whoever is swimming in the pool. Downright outrageous! Electrocution was a prime murder weapon in the Chan mysteries, and was a good fit for this episode.
Watch how all the skullduggery unfolds. Great support by Warner Brothers regular Watkins, who could play some excellent dramatic roles. Hayes later went on to co-star in nearly 3000 episodes of DAYS OF OUR LIVES.
Special guest star is Efrem Zimbalist, Jr. (as Stu) from 77 SUNSET STRIP. Screenwriter Lester Fuller wrote six episodes for the series, many others for Warner Brothers tv shows, also working as a director.
He died a few months after this episode as did writer Montgomery Pittman (of cancer). In late 1961, WB also lost writer and actor Fred Brady to a sudden heart attack. Truly, some sad times for the studio, and a terrible coincidence.
Recommended for mystery buffs. SEASON 3 EPISODE 23 remastered WB dvd box set.
