Colonel Farraday: [speaking to Jay Farraday] Then you're gonna have to start to do some thinking, like you've never done before. It's not gonna be enough that you know how to rope a cow. Not anymore. You're gonna have to have brains, education. Two of the things that you've had no respect for.

A very weary episode
I've felt for some time now that this show started its slow decline with the seventh season.
Don't misunderstand though: there are several enjoyable episodes in this season. Still, for me something seems to be missing. I can't put my finger on it.......except to suggest that several of these episodes seem tired.
This particular episode has got to be the first episode to appear in which I feel utterly wearied just sitting through it.
I can see everything coming.....but the worst of it is: I just don't care.
Personally, I've stopped watching this show after season 8. But it seems the boredom really started setting in with this episode.
