On April 10, 1973, all three parts of "'V' For Vashon" were edited and rerun as a two-and-a-half-hour feature. CBS preempted its regular 8:30-11:00 programming for this special event.
The epitaph on Chris's headstone reads: "MURDERED...BUT AVENGED"
Once again seen is the 1947 Bell 47 D2 Helicopter, Registration number N74119. This time coming up to the beach to meet Vashon. This helicopter has been seen as an HPD helicopter and also dressed up as an Army helicopter. Of interest to some, the later model 47G helicopter had dual "saddle bag" fuel tanks above the cockpit for longer flight time. The 47D has a single tank located over the cockpit.
The funeral service for the son is a Catholic rite, and the father and grandfather are shown making the sign of the cross. Both actors, Harold Gould (Goldstein) and Luther Adler were Jewish.
Neither of Honore's daughters have speaking lines.
