I really like the first year of Happy Days. It is the best year of the series by far,I say. For goodness' sake,Richie brought home a stripper in the first season! Anyway, the shows got to be a bit less wild in the second year as they hit their stride as a show. The show did very well for several more years in a row. Then,Ron Howard left the show, and he seemed to take all the life and energy with him ! The show brought in a parade of new characters, many of whom were given little or nothing to work with. Some of the characters disappeared after a couple of episodes. Most of the show episodes after Ron Howard left ranged from bad to awful, and it pains me to say this.
However, this delightful episode is an exception,it actually is funny and easy to enjoy. If more of the later shows were like this, they could have ended on a much better note.
