Typical for television and home audiences.

Robert Ellis Miller gave us some other episodes or stories of this kind, beginning with a funeral or a grave, the giving pretext to the past story of the deceased, for instance THE SMALL BOUQUET. In this very show, written by the same guy. Miller is a very sensitive story telling director, if you analyse what he made for Tv and even big screen industry, maybe not enough though. It is question of the show business - more exactly stage play - world, after the death of a woman - Julie - whom we never see - who left some writing which Leslie Nielsen's character wish to appropriate for himself, saying he actually wrote it. A topic so close to reality I guess, that inspired the screen writer.
