Harold Gould, who you made a single appearance in the first season as Arnie, ironically dating Rose, returns as college professor Miles Webber whom Rose meets at a dance ballroom but believes that she has nothing in common with him off the floor. She feels out of place among his college professor friends (who are all rather boring and uppity) and later sends Blanche in her place. the episode ends with all four women at the ballroom as miles and Rose discover what they do have in common and the other ladies find fun in an atmosphere that Blanche earlier referred to as a place for desperate people. this episode is more romantic than funny, but Harold Gould would make an outstanding recurring cast member for the remaining three seasons.

Warning: Spoilers
Rose has a new boyfriend, Miles who is a college professor. She loves dancing with him but when he incites her to an event with other professors she starts feeling very stupid. This happens even after she invites him over to their house. She even skips a date with him and sends Blanche instead, but Miles keeps on talking about Rose and that he wants to see her again.
A cute episode. Rose feeling inadequate around smart people is very believable. Very well acted and some great scenes made about it, especially with all the college professors. And Miles' compliment at the end was pretty fun as well!
