- TriviaSven's gray and white sweater is a Dale of Norway "Sarajevo 1984", designed by the company for the Norwegian ski team for the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo, former Yugoslavia, now Bosnia and Herzegovina. The sweater was available in multiple colors and two styles - a pewter clasped cardigan like Sven's and a pullover version with a buttoned placket.
- GoofsBlanche tells Sven they are going back to his place. Sven answers, "Okay, we can try, but I've never sailed around the Cape of Good Hope this time of year." The Cape of Good Hope is the southernmost tip of the African continent. A trip from Miami to Sven's home in Scandinavia would be a mostly straight line across the north Atlantic. It would not take him anywhere near southern Africa.

Dorothy Petrillo Zbornak: [looking at an erotic cake Rose unwittingly bought] WHOA OH!
Blanche Devereaux: Why Rose Nylund. Why, that cake is in the shape of...
Dorothy Petrillo Zbornak: Blanche, we know what it is.
Rose Nylund: I thought it was in the shape of Florida!
Blanche Devereaux: That reminds me... I gotta give Charlie Melbourne a call.
Dorothy Petrillo Zbornak: If this cake reminds you of Charlie Melbourne, we can BOTH give him a call!

Rose's cousin comes to stay.
Rose's cousin Sven arrives for a visit ahead of his wedding to Olga, only the plans go wrong when Sven falls in love with Blanche.
Yet another great episode from series three, another original plot, and a cracking character with the Nordic, moustached Sven. The fact that they keep creating unique storylines, credit to the writers of the show.
When Blanche turns to Rose and Sven and asks if they played the cousins in Deliverance, side splitting.
The one liners come thick and fast, the writing is out of the top drawer, it really is comedy gold. I get the impression that some of the laughs and smiles are totally genuine.
There are a couple of dodgy accents here, but who cares, the episode is hilarious.
8/10.
