Luke's Dark Day

We find out that Luke has a "dark day" that he takes off every year. Paris goes speed dating and it's awesome. I hate the storyline with Rory hosting a Chilton student. Rory and Marty are a cool pairing. Logan embarrasses Rory in her class and she recruits Richard to help her prank him back.

Warning: Spoilers
...these ridiculous privilege rich kids came along. We rejoice in the fact that they are in "A year in life". Great.

Logan, the stereotype rich kid that is in a rich college but "he want's to be somewhere else and/or be someone else and break the status quo" (there you go some latin for english speakers) is over exploited.

I mean, there is many many clichés in this tv show... so like everything in life, you need, like Rory's grandpa said: you need the right contacts, the right networking to do well in life. Forget about quality!!

Like everything in GG, this episode is about nothing in particular. Nothing happens. And if it does, it blows over on the next. No continuation, like when Rory or Lorelei break with their boyfriends. Except Emily and Richard's separation. It goes on and on and it is normal, relatable. I even get why Emily was left out of Richard's business.. but, hey! It is NOT her business.. If she studied in an Ivy league college, she should have work in something related to that, so the investment in money and time didn't go to waste... but it is something normal in murican country, where you need a degree in something and then marry and start to procreate. Men work, women tend the house. Only here the ones tending the house are the maids that change from week to week. Literally, like it is funny when it is not.
