As the monkeys are lined up in a row at the beginning of the episode, the "see no evil" monkey is shown twice, while the "speak no evil" monkey is not shown at all. However, a few seconds later, when the monkeys are shown again, all three can be seen.
The Japanese history of the episode is all over the place. The title is Chinese, not Japanese. Mushashi says that Tanaka got the monkey statues from a temple in Burma, but Mushashi was sent from the temple as a samurai assassin. Samurai wouldn't think of themselves as assassins, and Burma doesn't have samurais. Even though Mushashi has a Japanese katana.
Tia Carrere is Hawaiian, not Japanese as shown here.
Tanaka not only knows when his children will have their monkey tests, but apparently puts on his samurai armor and waits for them. Even though he would have no way of knowing when the tests would occur.
Shohei teleports, as is seen when he recovers the second monkey from the truck. And yet he opens the shop door when he goes to get the monkey from Curious Goods.
The second See No Evil monkey transforms the ivory into a plate on its own, without Hitoshi's use. He was illegally smuggling, but he didn't in any way abuse the monkey's power. It acted on its own.
