First look at WKS, the PBS station where Mr. Keaton works.
First episode that evolves around WKS fund raising.
Justine Bateman, who played Mallory, called this a landmark episode, because it handled a sensitive topic in 1982, long before the "Me Too" movement of 2017 where women were coming forward about how they were sexually harassed or abused. In this episode, the teenage Mallory is hugged, grabbed, and kissed by a middle-aged male family friend, who also happens to be her father's co-worker. She was frightened and finally tells her mother Elise, who also relates an incident from her youth when a family friend had grabbed her, and how she was confused and embarrassed by it.
