Not quite Cissy's apartment
gregorycanfield28 September 2021
Warning: Spoilers
As the episode begins, Cissy comes home, and she's inexplicably frustrated with everyone. What could this pretty girl be so upset about? What else? She wants her own space. She meets her previously unseen friend Rita, and decides to move in with her. Some predictable things start happening. Her family members start dropping by, and Rita starts using Cissy's stuff. It doesn't take Cissy very long to realize that she wants to return to her family. This is not the greatest episode. Cissy's presence is the only thing that made it watchable. The episode started out on a serious note, but everything is then wrapped up a little too easily. Kathy Garver, for me, is the best thing about this show. At the beginning of the story, it seemed like "Cissy" was being taken to another level. A better episode would have allowed us to see her on that level.

Cissy Leaves Home

Cissy decides to leave home and share an apartment with her friend Rita.

An Ok episode, some amusing bits. Cissy is now 18 and feels like she gets no time to herself. After she moves in, each member of the family comes over to see how she is doing. French has a funny scene when he looks over the kitchen. Cissy's boyfriend Gregg makes another appearance, dropping by for some cold pizza.
