Dr. Franck is called by his client Paul Weller to his workshop: he finds him sitting drunk near his dead co-worker. Weller states that he has killed him, but Rainer doesn't believe it: only a couple of years before he had unwillingly killed the father of the victim but he was acquitted because it was for self-defense, but he never forgave himself and now he finds the occasion to be punished, no matter if he's guilty or not.
