In the scene with Sully trying to get Colleen to school in the background you can see Dr Mike's bed. For most of the scene the pillows are uncovered but right at the end they are covered. But Dr Mike and Sully come back to see Colleen, the pillows are uncovered again.
Colleen said she had not met a war hero. She met General Custer. He was a war hero.
When Dr. Quinn returns with the Birch Bark, Miss Dorothy demands that Dr. Quinn give Tom dose of morphine. Dr. Quinn refuses. Miss Dorothy grabs the bottle of morphine. If the morphine was so easy to access, Miss Dorothy would have used it.
When Tom returns to the clinic for another dose of morphine, Dr. Quinn shows Tom that she has only one dose left. She shows him the vial and then places it back on the table. She mixes an alternative pain reliever in a glass and walks over to Tom with the glass in one hand and nothing in the other hand. Tom drinks the concoction greedily. Suddenly Dr. Quinn has the morphine vial in her hand and puts it in her medical bag. This scene must have been cut together from two takes.
Tom refers to William T. Sherman as "Uncle Bill". His soldiers actually lovingly referred to this Union General as "Uncle Billy".
In previous episodes, Dr. Quinn has asked Civil War veterans if they has met her fiancee. She did not ask Tom. This does not make sense. Tom was injured in a battle and was in a field hospital.
