- The Petries start quarreling after neighbor Jerry suggests Rob's recent sneezing fits are psychosomatic expressions of repressed rage at Laura. Worse yet, could Rob have become allergic to Laura?
- Rob has had several sneezing bouts throughout the evening. Based on a newspaper article he read, Jerry believes Rob's sneezing is a psychosomatic condition brought about by anger, the most probable cause of that anger - based on the events of the evening - being Laura. Laura too begins to believe that Rob is angry with her. It becomes a vicious cycle where Rob gets angrier the more Laura believes Rob is mad at her, which is made all the worse by Rob continuing to sneeze. After getting allergy tests done and speaking to his doctor, Rob gets it into his head that he really is allergic to Laura, whether it be psychosomatic or physiological, especially as he only seems to be sneezing at home around her. Could it be so?—Huggo
- Rob is as his wits end when he suddenly begins having fits of sneezing. He's clearly having an allergy attack and the sneezing seems to be worse when he's near Laura, who begins to believe he's allergic to her. Rob laughs it off, but his doctor says one person can in fact be allergic to another. As they wonder how they can continue with Rob sneezing all of the time, Rob realizes that he's also sneezing around Richie and his neighbors Jerry and Millie. There is a furry solution to it all.—garykmcd
