The first two weaker seasons were behind them and at this point with the right combination of characters, they began to click on all cylinders .

Warning: Spoilers
Christian I. Nyby II directs Murder on the Run: Part 1, and being a fan of Diagnosis Murder for over a decade, I'm a bit of a fil nerd and like to see which directors pop up, and Nyby has directed over 50 episodes (52 to be exact) episodes of Diagnosis Murder, so well done to him. Here an accused murderer is on the run big time, and Mark is involved as always. Mark Tymchyshyn guest stars, and I'm not sure how to pronounce Tymchyshyn. Anyway, for me Jesse was far better in the cast than the previous who was in Happy Days, as Jesse has more of an aw shucks persona which is likeable for all init.
