- TriviaWhen entering the Kitty Lynn set Dick Van Dyke stumbles over an ottoman, an homage to the Dick Van Dyke entrance.
- GoofsMuch is made about Kitty being allergic to cats; she sneezes right away when near the hairdresser who had been playing with a cat, she sneezes right away when near Mark after he had been in Carl's home, but she doesn't sneeze at all while she is in Carl's home or all the way back to her studio. It's only after she emerges from her dressing room that she sneezes in front of Mark.

Bigoted Against 'Unwed" Mothers
Yet another episode of this show that is untruthful about single mothers including Barry Van Dyke's disgusting and bogus line "she was just another unwed mother" which was said in a hostile tone of voice, which is totally despicable and unforgivable.
The writer of this episode should be ashamed of themselves, especially for portraying Vicki Lawrence's character as an uncaring mother who threw her child away when the truth is single mothers during that time were forced to give away their babies and still are today which is beyond evil.
To lie about and cut down single moms is a selfish agenda from infertile couples and the adoption agencies that sell them babies, babies who were wanted by their mothers and I am one of them so I know what I'm talking about.
Other shows support the same twisted full of lies pro-adoption agenda like Matlock, Murder She Wrote and Coach.
We are owed an major apology from these shows and the networks and all I have to say about this episode FMurder is FUdiagnoismurder and your immature discrimination.
