Carlos becomes suspicious that Gabrielle is seeing another man, but targets the wrong suspect: the cable guy instead of gardener John. Lynette balks when the twins' teacher insists the boys have A.D.D. but tries to salvage the matter by separating the boys. Bree struggles with her rebellious son Andrew after Rex moves out. Both Susan and Edie continue to vie for Mike Delfino's affections, both of whom are unaware he has an agenda when he's revealed to have a map and personal files on all Wisteria Lane residents, including Susan. The ladies show Paul the anonymous blackmail/death threat letter sent to Mary Alice, unaware that he already knows about Mary Alice's troubled life and he secretly hires a mysterious "associate" named Mr. Shaw, to find out who sent Mary Alice the letter.—Anonymous
- Gabrielle and gardener John kill time by bathing together until he's is chased away by the belated arrival of the cable guy, Jonathan. He manages to splash soapy water at Jonathan who consequently has a bad fall. Carlos becomes suspicious by the late hour of the service and the presence of a sports sock that the youngster forgot under the bed. Gabrielle makes up an excuse and later forbids John to wear socks at the Solis home. Still Carlos ends up questioning poor John and drawing his manly conclusions the hard way. When told at school her three darling rascals are hyperactive because of ADHD, for which medication exists, Lynette tries separating them, then tries using the medication and has to resort to other methods in the end. Bree's unbearable compulsive behavior has chased away Rex possibly for good. Her teenage son, Andrew, not only blames her but also refuses her parental authority altogether. Mrs. Huber has found and assessed the measuring cup proving Susan torched Edie's place, and uses it as blackmail. The threatening note from the late Mary Alice is shown to her widower Paul, who knows more. Meanwhile neither of Mike Delfino's admirers realizes his hidden agenda.—KGF Vissers
