Anthony's absence of malice.

Warning: Spoilers
Don't see an attorney for friends or co-workers. I'm sure Anthony learn the hard way in this episode where he defends Mary Jo who is being sued by a neighbor for breaking her refrigerator. Things in the court case do not work out in his favor and he has a breakdown, causing Etienne to bringing Julia to try to terminate him out of bed. Mary Jo has to learn something from this as well. Yes, there is a strong storyline, and there is some humor, but it's one of the dullest episodes I've seen in awhile, even though it involves the character of Anthony who has become really strong in the past couple of seasons, definitely more than just supporting character to nice women. In fact, most of the episodes of season seven have focused on Anthony. B. J. Has a bit of a story too, constantly giving the women expensive gifts, and the women have to gently convince her that she doesn't have to always be so generous, that their friendship which is indeed new is still as strong as the other woman's are. They have to learn from her perspective what her motive is for it, and when she volunteers to stop, here is the predictable reaction. Probably better for certain characters development than for the show itself.

One of the Series' Worst

I feel a little bad about ranking this so low, because the B-story featuring BJ's obsessive gift-giving isn't that terrible. However, the scene near the end of the episode where Julia is seen trying to coax Anthony back to work after an embarrassing court appearance is the most ridiculous scene in the entire series.

Of course, it's Etienne who spouts her usual nonsensical dialog and I feel bad for Dixie Carter having to recite such embarrassing lines. It's episodes like this that gave Season 7 such a bad rap.

If you fast-forward through the scene in Anthony's bedroom. The episode is somewhat tolerable.
