Any episode that laughs at pretentious modern art is a classic in my book.

When Julia is invited to an art show, she brings along the rest of the women and they are all aghast over how absurd it all is. Trash on the floor meant as exhibit and a big black framed wall, pay phones and colored masking tape cut together to represent a TV, and finally, Julia's purse, all for the sake of ripping off silly rich people with nothing better to buy. Then there's Suzanne accidentally gluing her lips shut and being confuses for a mime. Thanks to Charlene's big mouth, Julia puts her paintings in the gallery, classic and campy paintings of fruit bowls, and begins to see the absurdity of the art world. Charlene and Mary Jo have a conflict over a dent on Charlene's car, and I'm surprised that someone didn't consider the junkyard bumper as art. It reminds me of the floor length display of old soda cans in MOMA, probably $50 at a recycling center, but selling for probably close to $5000. Suzanne is very funny with little dialogue, using hand and lip gestures, and still getting laughs.
