When Makepeace's informant - a Freddie Mercury lookalike - gets beaten up by a local gangster she gets upset, gunning for revenge and loses her usual calm demeanour but before setting for revenge she heads to Stringfellows nightclub and gets drunk, which leads to confusion the next day on whether she and Dempsey crosses the line. However amusing these scenes are it mars the pace and eschews the possibility of some intensity. Nevertheless, it's still enjoyable.

Milton Johns specialised in playing snivelling creeps. Here he plays nasty gangster Sid Lowe. He runs a protection racket and his goons cause serious damage.

Lowe's henchmen shoot a man in a chicken costume dead while Dempsey and Makepeace arrested him.

Later Wee Jock who is one of Makepeace's informant is badly injured by Lowe's people.

Makepeace takes it badly. She even pays for Wee Jock's medical treatment.

It's Dempsey who has to make sure Makepeace does not let her emotions rule her head.

This could had been a tough gritty episode. It loses its way with the posh hooray Henry disco scenes as Makepeace gets drunk.

American actor Lou Hirsch has a comical turn as Wee Jock. He plays tough and he can act tough as he is set upon by Lowe's men.
