If like me, you have a crush on Joey Potter, then the end of the last episode was a high point and far more romantic than the very last episode of the series. For 3 and a half seasons, will she or won't she has been the question? Or that plus who with? The way it was answered was very sweet and romantic and possibly worth the wait.

Cut to About Last Nigh. From the top of the highest summit to the bottom of the deepest crevice. Is it like a Greek tragedy that the hero now digs his own grave? This is not the Pacey we have known this season. I think that is my biggest complaint. That main characters change personality so completely and quickly has been a trademark of this series. One would like to blame it on the circumstances introduced by the writers, or possibly their ages, but I don't buy it.

The Big Picture is much better, but that's not hard. There are some nice moments including some optimism for Dawson and Gretchen.

Excess Baggage is so appropriate for Jen's story. It's cute but rebellious. Most of all it is the confused personality of Jen to a T, not just revealing that but being the film version of that personality.

Seems Like Old Times starts out well enough and looks like it will be nice, but ...

By the end of this episode, I have totally lost faith in two of the primary characters and I'm not exactly proud of the third. The crazy girl is back to being the most likeable despite her tendency to be a magnet for disasters thanks to the writers.
