Strong end to the first series.
Whilst out on a trip, an Arial photographer spots a body in the middle of an open field. The Police call on Dangerfield to explain how the man died, even if it means upsetting his wife, who believed he was away at a conference.
I've raced through this first series, and for good reason, it's been such an enjoyable watch, it's grown with every episode, and this series finale was excellent.
Excellent story, and great development for Dangerfield's character, professionally and personally.
You can see the relationship developing between Dangerfield and Joanna, she's been a nightmare for the most part, now she's softening, and definitely falling for him.
We see that Dangerfield isn't quite perfect, that moment where he tells the wife that her husband was a Peeping Tom, it was cringe worthy.
I really enjoyed Paul's interactions with his kids, a lovely moment between Al and Marty, at eachother for the most part, a lovely scene on the beach.
8/10.
