Look Mum, there's the willy man.
Alan single handedly managed to upset the whole of BA, and Brian has invited Alan's school friend Barry Martin around for Christmas.
So, two major gripes with this episode, firstly of course, the appearance of the no good Rolf Harris, and secondly the character of Barry Martin, I really do like Stephen Tompkinson, but here, unfortunately, he was atrocious, a badly written character, he played a similar one in another show, maybe After Henry? Talk about wooden, I actually think he spoiled it.
Those two gripes apart, it's funny, the regular cast are great, and there are some real laughs, Alan's tape recording, the scene with the turkeys, and the ending, very funny.
The fact that this show bad a Christmas special, surely it was going somewhere, what a shame that it ended here, it was definitely going somewhere.
7/10.
