"Buzz off"
At an upscale restaurant, Tom runs into an old girlfriend, Dolores Carew (Madlyn Rhue), that he hasn't seen in 10 years. She's coming off a divorce from her husband Burgess "Buzz" (Ronny Graham, writer of several Mel Brooks films), a gruff man who still follows her. Buzz comes to Tom's office the next morning to beat him up, but settles for warning him to stay away from Delores. Tom explains to Eddie about divorce and that he and Delores are just friends. He takes Eddie to Delores' apartment where Eddie befriends her son Jimmy (Jason Karpf). Buzz shows up happy-go-lucky to interfere and embarrass Delores. Tom and Eddie leave. Buzz keeps his smiling attitude in visiting Tom at work where he says he's felt Tom out with his son, and feels Tom would make a better father for Jimmy than he would. Tom reviews his strange position with Tina who says Buzz is doing these things because he loves Delores, and she is allowing it because she loves him. Tina feels the only thing to do is find a way to reunite them. Tom would rather go about his own business, but goes along with Tina's plan to make them jealous and show their feelings. With Tom and Delores at dinner, Buzz shows up with an unexpected date, raising Tom's aggravation level another notch. The result may not be as planned.
