Dante and Randall start the show by reading letters from the viewers. One of these letters was written by a Mr. Richard Feder of Fort Lee, New Jersey. This is the same fictional name used for the person that "wrote" letters to Saturday Night Live (1975) character Roseanne Roseannadanna. Another letter is from Jennifer Schwalbach Smith, who is the wife of creator Kevin Smith.
This episode was the first to air on Comedy Central and features the new TV-MA rating after ABC cancelled the series in 2000.
