Dr. Jeffrey Geiger's ex-wife Laurie (Kim Greist) explains that the officiant for her wedding believes himself to be Argentinian First Lady Eva Perón, and the reverend (Richard Libertini) seems to recognize Geiger from "somewhere." This is a reference to Mandy Patinkin's famous role as Che Guevara in the Broadway musical Evita, which focuses on Perón, and from which the song "Don't Cry For Me, Argentina" is also featured in the wedding scene.
