- Quotes
Father Powell: You don't believe?
Gil Grissom: In religion. I believe in God, in science, in Sunday supper. I don't believe in rules that tell me how I should live.
Father Powell: Even if they're handed down by God?
Gil Grissom: How many crusades were fought in the name of God? How many people died because of someone's religion?
Father Powell: Fanaticism, not religion.
Gil Grissom: Semantics. They're still dead.

The Wrong Brother and the Friend
While patrolling a desert plantation field in the night, a police officer stumbles upon a man digging a grave to bury a cadaver. Soon Grissom arrives with Nick and Sara and they identify the man, Ben Jennings, and the victim, the lawyer Oliver Dunne. While analyzing Ben's car, Grissom receives the visit of Father Powell, who tells that Ben is a good man. When they find the corpse of David Ramirez buried in the same location, Grissom suspects of Ben's brother Roger. However, all the evidences are against Ben that refuses to accuse his brother. Meanwhile, Catherine and Warrick investigates the case of a woman, Shelley Danvers, which was found dead in the locker room of a spa. They find evidences of negligence and conclude who was responsible for her death.
"Alter Boys" is a good episode of "CSI", with two segments as usual. The story of Ben Jennings has a sad but realistic conclusion, and Grissom ends the episode with blood on his hands. The second storyline shows how dangerous a prank may be when playing with human health. My vote is eight.
