When the car crashes into the truck at the Tiki Club, the tiki torch is shown falling away from the truck. In the next scene, it is shown falling into the truck. Additionally, the positions of both vehicles change after the crash, and in a subsequent shot, there is no damage to the car which is now apart from the truck.
The Grease dance takes place at night after the Tiki Club crash, yet when Bruce is carried out it is broad daylight.

The brown car in the first crash is a ramp vehicle that was used several times in Season 6. The rear of the car has been modified into a ramp so vehicles rear-ending it would go up and over the car. The ramp can be seen just prior to the truck rear-ending it.
In the scene when Bruce does a wheelie on his red Honda motorcycle in the parking lot, the soundtrack is from a two stroke motor. The Honda XL has a four stroke motor.
A convicted auto thief/felon would not be able to work at a high school as a teacher, especially a private school as was shown.
The problems with Bruce Nelson performing undercover work are twofold- CHP cadets would not be allowed to perform this type of work, and in Speedway Fever (1982), two months earlier he was the national speedway champion. He received extensive press coverage from his championship race in Los Angeles, so he would was well-known, as was the fact he was a CHP Cadet, which was announced during the race. Having him perform motorcycle stunts his first day at school would hasten his true identity being known.
The officers handle the tokens dropped by the suspect with bare hands. The tokens would have been taken as evidence and processed for latent fingerprints.
When bruce arrives at the school, nobody seems to recognise him from his speedway days, which at most, were just a few months ago.
