- GoofsIn most episodes, Valentin and his teammates are driving their green RENAULT EK, the car became as famous as the characters themselves. It can be seen on most pictures and DVD covers. As the RENAULT EK was made between 1913 and 1916, this can't match with episodes where the story takes place in early years (from 1907)

Inspired from actual facts
This first episode explains in details the genesis of this police mobile brigade, created to fight against high scale criminals. For the French audiences, this is the beginning of a very interesting historical crime drama TV show; Many police research technicalities are evoked, such as the fingerprints element. For this period of production and airing - 1974 - it was really new; now, in 2024, it may seem old fashioned. There was a French series made recently: PARIS POLICE 1900, but I could not make it, because it was a series involving too many characters with episodes not independant one from the other. Here, LES BRIGADES DU TIGRE are not made on the same frame. Each episode provides a different story.
