Once a Villain, always a Villain.
Is it possible that a Father has committed the ultimate crime, killing his son, for being an addict?
First off, I am so glad to see Simon Rouse take up a permanent posting at Sun Hill, he's clearly been demoted from Chief Super over that business with Lovell. It'll be interesting to see how he compares with both Wrey and Reid. You just know there'll be fireworks between him and Frank soon.
Quite a sad story this, it's a very downbeat episode, it doesn't have any of the lighter moments, but the story is a cracker, and it's very engaging. The ending is great.
The show has been to some very dark places in recent times, this is yet another, drugs are always serious business.
The ever wonderful Clive Russell is great as McReedy.
