Jerry Seinfeld showed up for the table read for this episode only to find out he had been let go and was asked to leave the set.
At around 3 minutes into the show, the scene switches from the Governor's Mansion to an airport terminal where the staff are going to catch a chartered flight. The airport terminal shown is Long Beach Airport Terminal in Long Beach, CA. The historic terminal was completed in late 1941 and was scheduled for formal opening ceremonies on Dec 8, 1941, but the bombing of Pearl Harbor on the 7th caused the opening to be delayed until April 25, 1942. A major renovation of the terminal started in Feb 2023, part of which involves restoring some of the classic design elements it featured back in 1941. Details on the terminal may be found on the Long Beach Aviation History webpage, including an early photo of the terminal.
When the aircraft starts it is obvious that it is a turboprop so when the front of the aircraft is shown it is correct type of aircraft, but when a side view of the aircraft is shown with the sunset it is a different aircraft a DC 3.
