  [he offers Snow a VHS tape, who moves to take it, then stops] 

  Gabriel : You might be interested in this. The night this tape was made, eight armed men were ripped apart, like Moreno.

  Snow : [taking the tape]  Creature features. Maybe I should make popcorn.

• Snow : Gabriel.

  Gabriel : How'd you get in here?

  [Snow tosses him the VHS tape] 

  Gabriel : I have twenty men patrolling the grounds.

  Snow : Nineteen.

• Snow : I watched your tape, then I went to the carousel. Your friend Moreno wounded him. The blood spots... faint. The NYPD, they missed it. I followed the trail. It dead ends at a drainage tunnel under the park.

  Gabriel : Sometimes a dead end is the best place to begin.

• Snow : Where are you?

  Vincent : [out of sight]  Here.

  Snow : I can't see you.

  Vincent : I know.

  Snow : Do you have a name?

  Vincent : Yes.

  Snow : I always learn the names. All the names. Do you?

  Vincent : I know their faces.

  Snow : I don't suppose you want to call this a draw?

  [low growling] 

  Snow : I guess that's a no.

  Vincent : He sent you.

  Snow : Who? Gabriel?

  Vincent : Is that his name?

  Snow : One of them. It's your child, isn't it? That's why he wants it.

  [taking his ring off and setting it on a stalagmite] 

  Snow : Here. A peace offering. You still there? I'm tired of playing ring around the rosy. That game ends how? All fall down.

• Snow : He's beautiful.

  Gabriel : Yes. Qin Dynasty grave figure. 2,000 years old.

  Snow : I'm not talking about the stupid statue. He's not human.

  Gabriel : So few of us are these days.

  Snow : What do you think he is?

  Gabriel : My enemy.

  Snow : You're frightened, Gabe. You're not sleeping nights, knowing that he's out there somewhere. But I'm gonna fix it for you. So you can sleep like a babe.
