After Francine snaps a photo of Mr. Ratburn bending down to pick up papers he dropped on the floor, the photo comes out of the slot already developed. The camera she uses is an instant-camera based after the Polaroid Land cameras where photos that come out of the slot start out blank and take up to 60 seconds to gradually develop.
When Catherine turns the tables on Francine for taking embarrassing photos and passes out articles from "The Inquirer" that she uses in reprisal to her sister's "The Frensky Star", she can be seen working at the Brain's family's ice cream shop. But in other episodes, only the Brain and his family work there and don't hire people to work with them.
