The Warners and the Beanstalk gives several nods to Disney's Mickey and the Beanstalk.
One most notable nod is the casting of Jim Cummings as the narrator. Disney's version was narrated by Sterling Holloway, the original voice actor for Winnie the Pooh, a role that has since been Cummings' for many years.
The three singers that narrate Daniel Boone are revealed near the end to be The Dover Boys (Tom, Dick and Larry) from The Dover Boys at Pimento University or The Rivals of Roquefort Hall (1942).
Jim Cummings (narrator - The Warmers and the Beanstalk, Daniel Boone - Frontier Slappy), has voiced Winnie the Pooh and Pete for Disney.
The cow salesman is modelled off of Pat Buttram.
The Warners trying to get the giant to eat gold eggs and meat instead of them is a parody of the Dr. Seuss book Green Eggs and Ham.
